At the beginning of the year we ask our students to provide a pair of headphones for them to use and keep in the classroom for the duration of the school year. However, due to most of our students being refugees and low income this often not a school supply that is a priority. The headphones will be used by students when using Compass Learning and Reflex Math to build on their math fluency. Having the headphones will help the students focus on their own work instead of being distracted by others around them that are also using the programs. The partitions will help my students focus on showing me what they learned and not what their neighbor learned.
