Students will have a calming chime sound to signal transitions. Instead of an alarming bell or more teacher talk, the chime sound will signal the time to move to the next learning activity. Students will use this chime to be more independent and self-regulated. Students who need to move their bodies will benefit greatly from the flexible seating as it allows them to move their bodies in an appropriate way while doing their school work. Currently, there are a few of these chairs in the classroom and they are very popular. More chairs would mean more students are able to choose the flexible seating option. This seating helps students focus more and even helps build their core strength.
