Most of my students are able to complete assigned tasks ahead of time, and they would always ask me this question- "I'm done with my assignment. So now what would I do?"
With this new set of books, the students will be able to explore and extend their learning of the math concepts through fun and exciting math related stories.
We just need your help to set up our math center by providing us with the book bins/organizers and math story/exploration books. The students who will complete their assigned tasks ahead of time will get a ticket to use our math center, choose a book related to the lesson or previous lessons, read the book, and answer the accompanying questionnaire.
We also request for some additional items like a set of grid-whiteboards and stickers for the students to be used on graphing activities.
The completion of this project will definitely help my students to all the more have fun while learning math and see its connection to different real-world situations.
