My students deserve to experience the same in-depth teaching and novel analysis that their peers experience in English class. Their difficulties with reading can get in the way of their understanding, however. We have found a way around this by using audible versions of novels to help with comprehension. However, our classroom lacks class sets of all of the novels we need since this technique hasn't been used in this unique classroom before. We need class sets of these novels to make sure that these students get the same quality of education as their peers at a level that works for them. We are in the process of building up our classroom library to make sure this happens.
