Glad you stopped by to see how you can help donate to increase our STEM programming to our middle school students in an extra curricular "sport". FLL (First Lego League) helps promote team work, engineering and science practices in building a Lego robot, and a science themed project that tries to solve and resolve a problem. We need a new robot brain! Now even though this is for 10 students this is just for that year. Hoping when this project is funded this will last 3-5 years (hopefully longer), so ranging from 30-50 students over those years. They will learn how to program the Lego robot to do timed missions, and work on constructing with different sensors, coding and engineering principles. This new robot brain, SPIKE Prime, will replace our soon to be retired EV3. After 10 years, and more optimal technology we need to upgrade our FLL "brain" to compete against other schools, and improve our education.
