A new document camera will make our units of study and math lessons come alive for the students in our class. The one we have now has an awful glare (the Evil Cyclops) and is just not sufficient for the important work we are doing daily. To project literary works and math manipulatives on the screen makes it easier for everyone to see. To project the students’ work provides an opportunity for children to shine as they share their answers, insights, and efforts. To be able to clearly see what it is I am teaching them gives children confidence as they tackle the task at hand.
