Many of my students come from diverse backgrounds. I feel that due to this the books in their classroom should match their needs. These books would help the children because the children will be able to relate the books back to their own lifes. This would in turn help give them something to connect with making reading even more fun! They would also be able to hear the titles and use prior knowledge to make predictions about what the books may be about. I feel that by introducing these books to the classroom it will benefit their future love for literature!

About my class
