My students are from a small rural community. In a small school I have the luggery to work with my students from 7th grade to their senior year. I learn what they like and get to cheer them on in their sports, ag and hobbies. These students grow in front of me. The area is small farm community. This is a small school that the parents and sometimes the grandparents graduated from here. Many of the students work hard in school and then go home to work of the family farm after school. Being in this close knit community allows me to not only teach math but some years allows me an art class. I am asking for supplies for a classroom that I walked into that was empty except for the text books. Please help me to make a memorable and fun class to learn in.
