Help give my students technology to help them learn in a socially distant learning environment. This school year students will return to in-person learning and we will be wearing masks and socially distancing to keep safe. Having a sound system, which includes speakers and microphones, will allow students to hear instruction clearly as well as engage in discussions while following Covid-19 safety guidelines. Creating a fun and engaging classroom will help boost morale during this challenging transition back to in-person learning. The throwable microphone ball is one way to provide an additional layer of excitement to class discussions. The stools will allow seating in our classroom to be more conducive to small group discussions while still distancing. Hands-on activities also keep kids engaged, especially during math. Fraction tiles help my students visualize one of the most challenging concepts of the year. For safety, students will need their own set of these tiles to manipulate. Seeing and playing with the fractions will allow students to feel prepared and successful during discussions. All this technology will make our year productive and more importantly, triumphant over the challenges of learning during a pandemic.
