I am about to return to in-person instruction in a classroom built in the mid-20th century. Our current system for storing backpacks and coats uses hooks that are very close together. We very much need to socially distance these belongings! A personal storage crate for each student's belongings will drastically cut down on germs spread by backpacks and coats hanging so closely together. Students can each have a crate for their individual items and these crates can be spaced out through the room so that germs students bring from home will not transfer and travel home with another friend. Keeping my students and their families safe is my top priority and a prerequisite for high levels of learning!
