I have one space in my classroom near a bookcase filled with books that contains clipboards and one Big Joe bean bag. The students LOVE this bean bag chair. Each class the students fight over this chair. I am requesting two more Big Joe bean bags (they can be cleaned), fill for the bags as they tend to lose their bounce, and a rocking chair for kids who are comforted who rock. In addition, I am asking for a foam puzzle mat to put on the floor to add additional padding. My goal is to build a comfortable seating area so students can complete their work on clipboards and/or read. In addition, a foam mat on the floor will help me as I tend to sit on the floor next to the students when I am re-explaining concepts to them.
