Welcome to our first grade classes! We are very excited to jump start the school year, even if we are going virtual! We want to make sure that our students feel welcomed, comfortable and able to bloom in their new classroom environment. We are asking for the following items to help make this transition to digital learning as authentic as possible for our students. The web cams, wireless headphones and computer accessories will allow us to move around the room, use manipulatives and do demonstrations without being tied to a computer. The chart paper and markers will allow us to create anchor charts to help illustrate and define new concepts. We can post these around our learning station so students can use them to remind themselves of concepts we have studied. With these items, we hope to make virtual learning engaging and meaningful both academically and socially for our new crew. Please help us make this a reality.
