I am requesting rewards for my students to increase their daily attendance and positive behaviors. These prizes will be distributed weekly to reward students who display role model behaviors throughout the building by attending school daily. I want to reward the students for weekly perfect attendance and show them that "every day counts—school success starts with good attendance" The rewards are meant to be meaningful and provide an incentive to students who come from disadvantaged communities and often dealing with trauma due to displaced housing. Most of my students do not see the importance of coming to school daily and providing them with pencils, perfect attendance pins, wristbands, books, key-chain pop-its, motivational laptop stickers and more will help increase their attendance. Recognizing students for their hard work and dedication will boost their confidence but set a good example for other students. This project includes rewards to motivate our students to come to class everyday willing to learn. I hope to encourage regular and enthusiastic attendance. Let's bring some positivity to these kids' lives by commending their positive attributes!
