These materials will help my high energy 3rd graders to channel their energy and focus even more on their assignments. With seating choices other than chairs- like a wobble stool, yoga balls, or stools- my students will be able to get comfortable and get out their "wiggles"! My kids love to stand or move during our lesson and love to work in groups during stations around the room even more. Many students love to sit on the floor, rather than their desk chairs. To give them a chance to be more relaxed and less distracted with tilting their desk chairs back or being uncomfortable, students will be able to choose in a seat that feels the best.
My goal is for students to not only grow their brain in my room, but learn what works best for them. When students know their limits, it helps them grow. Knowledge is power!
