In Agricultural Mechanics the students learn basic information about several different trades that are crucial to our society. There is a high demand for skilled tradesmen in America today. Therefore, the early education of students in trades is very important. One trade that my students really gravitate towards is welding. I do not have enough helmets for all of the students in my class to be actively engaged in learning how to weld at the same time. I've figured out that the students learn best when they not only get to perform the skill, but also when they get to watch their peers perform that same skill. It helps the students identify things they can improve upon.

About my class
