I have chosen a hydroponic grow wall. The students I have are city kids, some inner city. I teach Biology in high school and many of these students have never seen where our food comes from. As I am teaching the students about plants, they have no idea what I am talking about. Hands on science allows my students to be engaged and learn about the world around them. This grow wall will increase their engagement and their understanding of the world around them. They will be able to plant vegetables, tend them as they grow, do experiments on them, and then eat them at the end. They will learn to love science and science rocks.
