Students sitting in a desk all day have been proven to show less growth over time than students who work in a collaborative learning environment. I am trying to stock my classroom with conference tables that students can use to work collaboratively. The students will sit or stand at these tables to do classwork and work in groups to complete class projects. The donations to this project will help to improve my students' understanding of teamwork and increase productivity. The hope is for all of my students to have a meaningful time in my classroom where their environment is conducive to learning and growing.
