We use technology on a daily basis in our classroom. During small group children rotate through centers. This year we’re using Epic! to support student learning by giving students access to thousands of high-quality fiction and nonfiction books. We also use DreamBox Learning a digital math program that independent studies have found to raise student achievement and better prepare children for future success. Both require the use of headphones. The majority of my students are English Language Learners where English is their second language. Being able to listen to others read stories or explain how to perform new math strategies is really important not only in developing their understanding but also expanding their vocabulary. Please help make our classroom learning environment all that it can be and more! Thank You
