The STUCO members who will be using the document scanner and the external hard drive will learn several new skills. Each of them will learn to program the scanner for different types of documents, install the software on computers, understand the storage options and file types, and organize the data into files. The skills they learn while setting up and operating the scanner and external hard drive will serve them well in years to come. The STUCO members will have an understanding of the importance of backing up all data on multiple sources. They will have hands on experience with the installation of software applications, operation of the scanner, and troubleshooting for both of these items. They also will have the satisfaction of completing a project that will preserve our school's 70+ years of transcripts and records.
