By having these sensory items my students will be able to focus and sit so that they are ready for academic learning. The flexible seating will help my students to be able to move while remaining at their desks. This helps them learn and still be comfortable. Oral sensory input is very important to my students. The chewy jewelry will give them a safe item to chew. By having access to a variety of sensory choices my students will be able to meet their sensory seeking needs and still participate in the academics. This project will allow my students to have more independent choices that they can chose for their unique needs.
