I am a soon to be first year teacher that would love to implement flexible seating into my future classroom to allow for students to enjoy their classroom environment. My students would love seating choices! Flexible seating will allow students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them. During station time the students sit where they work best; sitting at a desk or in the floor with a pillow. Though, I feel giving them different options of where to sit will motivate them even more! We would be able to use these during small groups at the kidney table, during individual work when the students feel they need to move to a new area, or during station time. It is the small things that make a huge difference in a classroom.
