These items will allow students to create presentations that are interesting and colorful and a means in which to display their thinking. I can have students research events in history and create poster boards that will display their thinking and learning. Lessons can include having students learn from each other by participating in gallery walks and commenting on and evaluating each others’ presentations. I will also use colored pencils for mapping activities differentiating all of the geographical areas we study including Ancient Greece, the Roman Empire, Indus River Valley and China. Pencils are something I have typically provided on my own, so having those donated would be extremely helpful!
