I have some of the most wonderful writers I have had in years. Their understanding of characterization, extended metaphors, classic forms of poetry amazes me and provides me with the inspiration to continue our literary magazine. Their dedication to written artforms and their dedication to the visual arts is without equal. These students type all submissions, rate them, edit them, develop an overall theme, and select the art that is depicted with the writing. Using donated software, we have been able to create an annual magazine of which we are immensely proud. I hope by doing this, I give a voice and exposure to the wonderfully creative students who often go unrecognized.

About my class
