Students will show care and compassion as they take care of each other and the babies in the nursery. They will learn as they play and pretend to be doctors in the clinic and take x-rays and help their classmates be healthy. My students will be practicing social skills as well as literacy and math skills as they play and learn together. Students can "sign in" to the clinic or fill out check-lists as the doctor to make sure their patients are healthy. They can count, weigh, measure, practice colors and shapes all while having fun. They can feed, change, and meet the needs of their babies in the nursery.
