Many children learn better when moving. Providing a quiet, subtle outlet for the need to move can increase attention and improve learning. Additionally, students develop more positive feelings about school and their own abilities to succeed when the expectation to remain seated during the day is not derailed by their natural tendency to be active. My student have diverse learning needs and these Bouncy Bands are one way to provide them with an accessible tool to be a bit more active when needed. Students with special needs and others who thrive when in motion will appreciate this barrier to classroom success being alleviated.

About my class
