Our Sensory Processing Room will provide students with tools to self regulate and prepare to learn. Each student will be assessed and individual plans will be put in place. Items were selected to address every sensory need. Examples of specific areas in our room will be: Calming Corner, Focusing Corner, Balancing Center, Tools/Techniques, Mindfulness Maze and Exploring Feelings Corner. Self regulation of our feelings is crucial to learning. Our children are faced with so many crisis' learning to identify, address and heal those feelings can change the path of a child. We are striving to accomplish this, one child at a time. Please help me make this dream a reality. Blessings, Tanya Drachenberg, MA, LMFT
