I am a reading teacher, and fully believe that what students need most to succeed as readers is time and good books. My library has many older titles, and I would love to fill it with newer titles my students are loving and want to read! This project will not only serve my students this year and next, but for many MANY years to come. Books are the cornerstone to our classroom. I have also asked for several book sets to allow my students to participate in book clubs. These are such an engaging way for students to interact with texts and with their fellow readers.

About my class
