During the stress of Covid-19, students are feeling the stress and anxiety that comes from it. I created this project in hopes that I could provide more SEL items for my students to help with their emotional health. These items I will use as I work with them. Social and emotional health is key to keeping students healthy and educationally prepared, which is why I created this project. I want my students to be prepared for all that is placed in their paths. This sofa will be used to offer a safe and comfortable place for students to express themselves to me during their emotional struggles. The velvet on the sofa will also aid in sensory needs as students feel worried or anxious.

About my class
