Having access to a classroom STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) Lab with twelve stations will provide learning through meaningful play. My students will use the stations to explore, build, create, problem solve, and interact with others while at school. The family engagement STEAM packs are for check out so students can continue learning, through play and creativity, with their families. Hands on learning in a small group or a family settings is authentic, engaging, challenging, and powerful. The school and home components will allow critical thinking skills to be developed in both social and academic settings in the classroom and at home.
