This equipment will allow the students to strengthen their sensory systems that they are deficient in. They will be able to add movement to their other academic areas. For example, we will be doing math facts while being in a plank position. Or creating sentences while passing a beach ball to other students; which will not only work on sentence structure as well as cooperation. These activities are both fun and allows students who are shy to become an active part of the lesson in a non threatening way. Also it allows students who are struggling in academics find a fun way to overcome the obstacles.
