The kits that are funded for this project will provide students a hands-on way to learn the content by going beyond textbooks and worksheets. Breakout EDU makes learning fun and incorporates 4 necessary skills of 21st century learners--critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, and communication! The kits include re-settable locks, boxes, and items that can be used to play immersive learning games. The Breakout EDU platform gives access to games on more than 900 academic topics. Plus teachers can build their own content-aligned games for classroom sharing. My students will be learning the same grade level standards but in a more engaging and interactive manner while using life skills they might not normally use in a Geography class.
