Inquisitive; this adjective definitely describes my students. Throughout the year, one of the biggest things I try to do for my students is to provide them with informational text about new places, influential people and important events in history. As they learn, my students have developed a desire to dig deeper and find out more information about the things that they find interesting. With the help of the iPads, students will be able to dig deeper into their interests. Students will have the opportunities to research people that they have read about and places that they dream to one day visit. With the support of the What's the Point? Comparing Text Center, students will be introduced to various texts that will not only opens their eyes, but also their imagination! By donating to our class project, students will have the chance to explore outside of our classroom, not only through the use of technology but also through text!
