My project will help our school provide an on-sight practice through play room so that our students can utilize and see the effectiveness of productive social skills. This room will also assist our children who face serious concerns such as separation, self-harming, or troubling social behaviors. Many of our families seek outside support, but being in a small town, that isn't always an option. Many of our homes are required to work multiple positions and don't always have the means to provide the outside services to teach those social skills or assist with those serious concerns. This project will be innovative with the growing concern of Mental Health. Research shows play is healing and learning!

About my class
