Headphones will allow my students to access software to practice their reading skills at their individualized reading levels and goals! Using headphones in our classroom will provide students with the opportunity to move in various centers around the classroom to practice fluency, reading comprehension, and reading strategies while also allowing guided reading groups to work with me one on one during our reading blocks. They will be able to access websites that accommodate each students reading level and skill to further develop their knowledge and continue to grow in their reading skills. They also will be able to access a variety of books and resources on computer that they otherwise would not have the opportunity to explore.
