In my class, we have a lot of open discussions on healthy habits. I talk to the students and explain the best I can. Having a way to stream videos will help them better understand each topic. Hearing about it and seeing are two different things. My first graders have been discussing safety. The topic of the week is bicycle safety. We have had an open discussion and colored works sheets on bicycle safety. If I had a way to stream videos, I could watch a bicycle safety video with them. Watching the video not only talks about it but it also demonstrates using students their age. Each grade level is discussing a way to live a healthy life. Having access to research new materials and stream videos will help educate me so I can better educate them.
