The couch will be a great way to pull my kids into reading. Having kindergarten students pick up a book up and read is so important to their learning. With these items i want to create a classroom where students feel like they can be independent. Flexible seating allows for my students to take charge of their learning. My students have a time each day where they have time do read for 15 minutes. I have also created a structured routine where students can get their own materials and move from one subject to another without wait time. The pouches for their chairs would help facilitate that even more.
