All of these things will go towards helping my students be successful in the classroom. A lot of my students need headphones in the beginning of the year some are not able to purchase those. There are a lot of prep programs that we do Where headphones aren’t an option otherwise students have to go into the hall or sit in a corner where they can have the volume on low but that doesn’t help them be As successful as they should be. The iPad is going to be used for many educational apps that my students who need intervention as well as my enrichment students can use. My big purpose and iPad is also having students read into it and then listen to them selves as a reader to figure out goals that they need to work on to better themselves. Our pencil sharpener is taped together right now and works only if you hold it in a special way. The chart paper is used with Lucy Caulkins reading and writing we go through about one piece of chart paper a day . Students use these anchor charts as tools to help them become better readers and writers.
