We are currently working on simplifying fractions in math class. My students are really struggling with it. I believe that having the dry erase boards would help the students be able to follow along while being engaged in the lesson. I would use the crayons, markers, and colored pencils as options when they are working on paper. The students would be able to use a different color for the different steps in the problems. This would help them see how each step makes up the different parts of an equation. I could also use all of them items in my ELA class. We could write our rough drafts then edit with colored pencils or markers.
