The materials provided will greatly benefit all areas as a school counselor. The books will be utilized in elementary classroom lessons. Classroom lesson vary from topics such as conflict resolution, goal setting, friendship, and many more. When meeting with students one on one, the block play people will be a great asset to utilize. Many of my students struggle with relationships within their family so having the sets will help when they are having a rough day. I have students who have yet to learn how to regulate their emotions, which the feelings carpet, weighted blanket, photo library, and understanding myself match-ups will help tremendously. I often work with students who need a safe and calm place before they are able to return back to class. I believe these items will benefit students in many ways.
