The audio-visual system will help students overcome public speaking fears and support their development of communication and presentation abilities. Students will explore presentation delivery styles and receive insightful feedback during practice. Students have already been issued laptops but to take full advantage, they can use this technology effectively when delivering the research that they conduct. Just as done in college and career settings, students will be expected to deliver meaningful research and demonstrate effective speaking abilities. They will gain confidence using technology that supports large audience presentations and will learn to reduce barriers to effective communication; they will practice their speaking skills and learn to use visual aids as tools to increase fidelity in the communication process.
