Having the option to work with a small group in the classroom is such a great opportunity to be hands-on by giving more attention to those who may need it or for those who need to be challenged someway. Using a horseshoe table would allow me to work with students in groups where each student would be able to communicate with one another during a group discussion or to work with manipulative's and be able to share their work with other group members and myself. Having space for this table would truly benefit my students and give us a designated place to go when we are not working in the whole group. This would allow me to focus on certain skills with students who may be struggling or need extra practice.
