The items in my project are everyday items that we use daily without even thinking about them. The students in my class will learn valuable skills on using the items correctly such as the purpose, how to use and how to clean them. Unfortunately; the students that I work with have become dependent on others. I want to show the world that just because my students have cognitive and behavioral issues, this does not mean that we need to do everything for them. I am hoping to do cooking activities, baking for other classes and creating dishes for when we have guests that visit our school. The craft supplies will allow us to advertise what we have created for others to enjoy. The sand and puzzles will be used to help with some of the fine motor and sensory needs within the classroom.
