The past few years with our performances in theatre, the biggest issue has been hearing our students. One of the biggest dissappintments is during our Spring Musicals when the students have done such hard work throughout the semester, and come performance time it’s so hard to hear their voices over music. If you are in the back of the room, you don’t stand a chance either because the acoustics are not the best at all (we have a stage in the cafeteria, so it’s not built to help move sound). The mics that we have used in the past have always been borrowed from other schools, and most of the time don’t work or don’t seem to work together (because the mics are all different brands and not compatible with the sound system). Having our own and enough of them will make all the difference. Help us give our students the chance to share their voice to an audience that is eager to hear all their hard work. Thank you for the consideration!
