I will build hands-on coding skills! Students will build a maze, then use the coding cards to create a step-by-step path for Colby the Programmable Robot Mouse. Students will program the sequence of steps, and then watch Colby race to find the cheese! Coding improves academic performance: Math, Writing, Creativity, and Confidence. It also builds soft skills: Focus and Organization, Resilience, and Communication. Coding is a basic literacy in the digital age, and it's important for kids to understand – and be able to innovate with – the technology! Coding paves a path to the future: Empowerment, Life Skills, and Career Preparation. Coding is the Future!

About my class
