Imagine entering your day being able to chit chat with your friends while giving you time to acclimate to your working environment. Morning choice will allow my students to enter the classroom and begin their day in an organized way that allows them to build relationships all while having fun. By creating a soft morning environment, students will practice life skills such as taking turns, working collaboratively to create something new, and tracking points to determine a winner! Some of these games will also be used during Word Study to strengthen their word building skills. This type of skill is crucial to being able to write and decode longer words they will come across in the upper grades.
