There are premade social emotional activities to go with picture books for children. I would like to purchase these resources because I want to incorporate mindfulness into our Language Arts time. While I read, students will be asked to relate to the characters, discuss feelings, and healthy ways to manage those emotions when we are not feeling our best. Another resource, I will purchase is mindfulness activities where students get to read scenarios and practice those mindfulness skills while they are at baseline. This way when they are upset, frustrated, or overwhelmed they know how manage these emotions in a healthy way.
