"Teacher, can I have a reed?!" is most likely the most frequently asked question in my classroom. Reeds are necessary (and expensive) accessories for my woodwind students. The band program at KMS is growing this year with new students, and many of them are choosing the clarinet or saxophone. The school provides instruments, but many of them will not be able to provide their own reeds. With the funding of this project, all of my woodwind students will have access to reeds. Our last Reed Drive was successful and lasted us until the end of the school year, so I am excited about providing for my students again!
