Preschool is a place where children learn through play. Our Great Start Readiness Program classroom has one hour where the children are allowed to explore through play in different areas of the classroom. Our classroom has a number of different tools (High Scope, COR and PQA-R) that we use to ensure that children are getting a quality education. New to us this year is PQA-R and in order to receive higher marks there are materials that are needed but don't have the resources to get. By getting these alphabet blocks to our block area students will be able to work on letter recognition and literacy skill while building and having fun. Not only will these help during free play times, but they can also be used for small group and help our classroom improve of our overall PQA-R score.
