As an up and coming school of the arts, the students at our elementary will benefit from the new technology growing in theater arts. Microphones and LED lighting are just some examples that will grow students' understanding of combining technology and performing. Microphones are essential in amplifying the students' voices so the audience will hear their singing, dialogue, and sound effects. LED lighting will create an ambiance emphasizing their performance, while captivating the audience's eye. Students will feel confident and excited to participate in the musical theater project with true to life theater technology. This production will be viewed as a professional learning experience for all students involved and the equipment will last for years to come. Hundreds of students will benefit from these materials and thousands of people in the audience will appreciate the hard work of the actors and singers on stage.
