The addition of this television will greatly enhance the educational experience of my students. We will be able to experience math on a whole new plane through the use of television programming and apps displayed on this larger monitor. Also, we will be able to access educational video and demonstrations which have not been available to us in the past. In addition to viewing television programming, I would like to encourage my students to create videos themselves. I can see them demonstrating methods of problem solving, using mathematics in daily life, and becoming more aware of the role mathematics plays in our world.
